Tom Argue grew up in Scottsdale and attended the University of Arizona. After graduation, Tom gained experience in commercial construction and demolition before starting the Phoenix Group (a consulting firm for contractors), which led him to establish Argue Custom Homes in 1992.

Over a decade ago, Argue Custom Homes entered the Valley's homebuilding market with the goal to build the finest homes in the finest neighborhoods.
